Returns & Refunds

We hope you love your items. If you are unhappy with anything you’ve ordered, you do have 30 days from the day you receive it to send it back to us.

If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

In some cases, we may not be able to issue a full refund, these include:

  • The items have been worn/washed/ironed and have obvious signs of use
  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or for reasons not due to our error
  • Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

Each return is assessed individually and we’ll let you know within 14 days of receiving the item if your return has been approved.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

How do I return/exchange an item?

  1. You need a returns slip which you can get  by emailing with your original order confirmation email and the reason you want to return or exchange the item.
  2. Repack your items - ideally in the same packaging it came in, but if you don’t have that, just put your items into something not see-through, sealable and waterproof.Make sure you include your returns slip in the package or we won’t be able to process the return.
  3. Send the item back to us using the address on the free returns label: Recovered Clothing,  Units C1 – C4, Junction 7 Business Park, Blackburn Road, Clayton-le-Moors, Lancashire; BB5 5JW
  4. We’ll email you to let you know that we’ve received and inspected your return. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
  5. Once approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 14 days.

What can I not return?

We don’t accept returns on gift certificates.

Items must be unworn and unwashed with the original labels attached. This does not affect your statutory rights

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded. 


Late or missing refund

If you have checked your credit card and/or bank account and have not received a refund, you may need to contact your bank or credit card company as it may take some time before your refund is officially posted due to processing at their end.

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you will receive a gift credit for the value of your return. You will need proof of purchase to get a refund. If you can’t get the order confirmation, email us with the name/item code of the item you are returning along with proof of purchase.

Once the returned item/s are received, a gift certificate will be emailed to you.

Please note, we cannot send a refund to the person receiving the gift if there is no proof of purchase, in this instance, the gift giver will receive the refund once the item has been received by us.
